Bangkok Rene Spa Introduction

RENE Spa Bangkok is a Japanese wellness spa specializing in wellness treatments and the export of Black Galangal (Krachai Dam) herbal products.
Our Bangkok team includes three Thai licensed physical therapists and one Thai accounting staff member (part-time), as well as a Japanese manager and one Japanese therapist scheduled to join the team in 2026.
We also occasionally invite a licensed acupuncturist from Japan to provide special treatment sessions.
In addition, Sakura, our friendly signboard Pomchi, is at the spa around three to four days a week.

Licensed Physical Therapists — 3 Thai Female Therapists

Pon — RENE Spa Team Leader | 13 Years of Experience as a Physical Therapist

Before joining RENE Spa, Pon worked at one of Thailand’s renowned holistic medical centers. She also trained under a highly respected physical therapist who is regarded as one of Thailand’s leading practitioners and who teaches at a Thai medical university.

A specialist in muscular treatment, Pon carefully applies around 120 different techniques depending on each client’s condition. She is known for her exceptionally high level of technical skill.

Pon has earned tremendous trust from our Japanese clients living in Thailand. Always smiling, she has a calm, friendly, and approachable personality. She speaks English and a little Japanese.

Qualifications: Thai National Physical Therapist License, Thai Ministry of Public Health–Certified Massage Therapist License, and a medical degree. She also holds numerous additional certifications in areas including sports therapy, oral massage, pediatric and elderly rehabilitation, rehabilitation for people with Down syndrome and Parkinson’s disease, and physical therapy for dogs and cats.

Amp— Physical Therapist | 12 Years of Experience

Before joining RENE Spa, Em worked at the same holistic medical center as Pon. She trained under Pon at her previous workplace and has developed a high level of technical skill. Even on her days off, she is often studying physical therapy and is extremely dedicated to continuing her professional development.

Em has a shy and gentle personality, with a lovely smile. She is also very tidy and enjoys keeping things clean. Whenever she has spare time, she helps with cleaning the spa, doing laundry, and even cleaning the restroom. She can understand spoken English, although she does not speak it very much.

Ploy — RENE Spa Manager | 15 Years of Experience as a Physical Therapist

(Currently studying in Taiwan to obtain her acupuncture qualification; available at RENE Spa when she returns to Thailand)

Before joining RENE Spa, Ploy worked at the same holistic medical center as Pon and Amp, where she was recognized as the No. 1 therapist at the center for her outstanding technical skills. She is particularly skilled in neurological treatment.

Ploy has a bright, energetic personality and is fluent in both English and Arabic. She is currently studying in Taiwan to obtain her acupuncture qualification and is temporarily away from work. She works at RENE Spa as a part-time staff member whenever she returns to Thailand.

Japanese Manager & Spa Owner — Minae Doi (Toyo)
～ Health Coach, Bodywork Practitioner & Therapist

Minae Doi, also known by her Thai nickname Toyo, is the owner and manager of RENE Spa Bangkok. She is a former police officer with the Nara Prefectural Police in Japan. During her 20-year career as a detective, she was frequently involved in autopsies and post-mortem examinations. This led her to study anatomy and basic physiology and obtain qualifications as a Health Management Specialist and Psychological Counselor.

Through this experience, she developed an interest in preventive medicine. She was later recruited to join a health food and cosmetics manufacturer founded by a friend.

She originally came to Thailand to source Black Galangal, a Thai herb used as an ingredient in supplements and cosmetics. After establishing a company in Thailand, she opened a physical therapy spa alongside the company office, which has developed into the RENE Spa of today.

【Development of Our Original Method】

Toyo worked part-time at a holistic medical center in Thailand specializing in physical therapy, where she learned hands-on techniques in physical therapy and osteopathic treatment.

Drawing on that experience, she spent eight years developing her original “MINAE Method ♥ Muscle Release Massage,” based on the concept of “relaxing the muscles, releasing the fascia, and improving lymphatic flow.” Today, the MINAE Method is incorporated into many of the treatments offered at RENE Spa Bangkok.

Toyo continues to study preventive medicine under Dr. Mitsufumi Miyazaki, a health doctor in Japan, while further developing her skills as a health coach. At RENE Spa, she provides clients with counseling and health guidance. She also personally provides MINAE Method treatments, including facial sculpting, slimming treatments, and osteopathic therapy.

Japanese Staff — Osteotherapist, Craniosacral Therapist & Aromatherapist

A qualified osteotherapist with numerous additional certifications, including traditional Thai therapies (Thai massage, Tok Sen, etc.), aromatherapy, and foot reflexology. She has 12 years of experience as a therapist.

She also provides facial sculpting treatments.

She speaks Thai and English and is currently studying professional bodywork techniques under a licensed physical therapist.

A lively, down-to-earth woman from Japan’s Kansai region, she has a friendly and easygoing personality.

Sakura has been RENE Spa Bangkok’s beloved mascot since she was a puppy and is adored by our clients.

She is a female Chihuahua-Pomeranian mix.

She has a calm, gentle personality and is very well-behaved, even when left on her own. She also knows lots of tricks!

She is bilingual and understands both Japanese and Thai. She is currently on a diet, so her tummy is always empty.

Sakura loves our clients. At first, she barks because she takes her job as RENE Spa’s mascot seriously, but she will soon start wagging her tail to say hello.

She is currently 12 years old and comes to RENE Spa three to four days a week.
